You can render complex LaTeX expressions instantly — without leaving Confluence by following the steps below.

  1. Open your Confluence page and click on “Edit” button on top right.

  2. Insert a macro on your page by typing “/” or clicking on t he “+” icon.

  3. Select the macro “Latex Equation for Confluence” as shown in the screenshot below

  1. After inserting the macro, the following window is shown:

  1. Add Your LaTeX Code

Enter your LaTeX expression inside the macro editor.

Example:

\frac{a^2 + b^2}{c^2}

  1. Publish the Page :- Your equation will be rendered instantly.

 

📌 Inline Equation Example

Use inline LaTeX for equations within text:

E = mc^2

You can include it directly within your documentation content.

For larger expressions:

This renders as a standalone mathematical block.
