PlantUML Diagrams for Confluence

You can easily embed your PlantUML Diagrams in a Confluence page by following the steps below.

  1. Open your Confluence page and click on “Edit” button on top right.

  2. Insert a macro on your page by typing “/” or clicking on t he “+” icon.

  3. Select the macro “PlantUML Diagrams for Confluence” as shown in the screenshot below

  1. After inserting the macro, the following window is shown:

  1. By Default the Sequence diagram is shown. You can choose any other diagram by clicking on the Templates button.

  1. Once you are done creating your diagram, you can name and save it using the Save button.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

**Can I edit the page later in the standard Confluence editor?**

Yes. Content is converted to native Confluence format.

**Does this work with existing pages?**

Yes. Existing pages can be opened and edited using Markdown Editor.
